FRIED RAVIOLI
These
fried ravioli are cheese ravioli coated in seasoned breadcrumbs, then fried to
golden brown perfection. Toasted ravioli are a fun and unique appetizer that
are easy to make!

Ingredients
·
20 ounces refrigerated
cheese ravioli
·
2 eggs
·
1/3 cup milk
·
2 cups Italian
breadcrumbs
·
oil
for frying
·
1/4 cup grated
parmesan cheese
·
1 tablespoon chopped
parsley
·
marinara
sauce for serving
Instructions
1. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
2. Place the eggs and milk in a small bowl, and
whisk until thoroughly combined.
3. Place the breadcrumbs on a plate or in a
shallow bowl.
4. Dip each ravioli into the egg mixture, then
roll into the breadcrumbs. Repeat the process with all of the raviolis. Place
the raviolis in a single layer on the sheet pan.
5. Heat 3 inches of oil in a deep pot to 350
degrees F.
6. Add 6-8 ravioli to the pan, and fry for 3-4
minutes or until browned all over.
7. Repeat the process with the remaining
raviolis.
8. Sprinkle with parmesan and parsley, and
serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes
1. You can use frozen ravioli, just thaw them
before proceeding with the recipe.
